Secure the return hose, control valve hose and the two 4. Install the harness clamp and the two clamps on the power steering line bracket with the bolt, two washers and the locknut. 5. Purge the air from the power steering system. Refer to “Purging Air From the Power Steering System” on page 8–35 . Suction the power steering fluid from the reservoir. 2. Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the power steering hoses from the reservoir (Figure 8-29). 3. Remove the two bolts and washers securing the reservoir to the bracket and remove the reservoir. Installation 1. Secure the reservoir to the bracket using the two washers and bolts. 2. Secure the two power steering hoses to the reservoir using the hose clamps. 3. Fill the reservoir and purge the air from the power steering system. 4. Start the engine and check for leaks.
