1. Disconnect the voltage regulator connector at the crankcase.

2. Using a test Light, touch one probe to a good engine ground and the other probe to the regulator pins, one at a tune.

3. If the Light comes on during any test, replace the voltage regulator.
 

Charging System Output Test

An induction load tester will be required for this test procedure.
