No. 182 Brake fails   

Malfunction  

Causes 

Solution  

(1) Severely insufficient brake liquid or without 
brake liquid;   

Add brake liquid 

(2) Leather cup of master cylinder severely 
ruptured or severe leakage of brake system;   

Replace leather cup of master cylinder or eliminate oil 
leakage  

(3) Brake hose or metal pipe ruptured;   

Replace brake hose or metal pipe;   

When stepping 
on brake pedal, 
the vehicle is not 
decelerating; 
even with 
stepping on 
continuously, not 
obviously 
decelerating. 

(4) Connection between brake pedal and master 
cylinder falls off.

No. 183 Steering wheel with too large free stroke   

Malfunction  

Causes 

Solution  

(1) Drive, driven meshing part of steering gear 
loosening or bearing of drive, driven parts 
loosening;  

Adjust drive, driven meshing part of steering gear or 
bearing clearance of drive, driven parts;   

(2) Connecting parts of steering gear and steering 
shaft loosening;   

Adjust clearance of connecting parts of steering gear 
and steering shaft;   

(3) Ball joint of steering gear loosening;   

Replace ball joint of steering gear;   

(4) Connecting part of tie-rod ball head loosening

Fasten or replace tie-rod ball head;   

(5) Ball head of lower swing arm loosening 

Fasten or replace ball head of lower swing arm 
assembly; 

(6) Steering thrust bearing loosening 

Replace steering thrust bearing;   

When the vehicle 
keeps driving 
straightly, shaking 
steering gear to 
and fro slightly, it 
feels play angle 
very large. 

(7) Hub bearing loosening
