Installation 

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. 

Refer to: 

Liftgate Trim Panel

 (501-05 Interior 

Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and 
Installation). 

2. Torque: 20 Nm 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Installation

CAUTION: Make sure that the clearance 

on either side of the hood is equal and no 
strain is placed on the hood latch. 

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the hood latch.
