Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Make sure that all openings are sealed. 

Installation 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. 

Refer to: 

Battery Disconnect and Connect

 (414-01 

Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

Installation 

1. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) 

valve.

Duratorq-TDCi (100kW/136PS) - DW/2.0L

Requirements: Stage IV, Removal and 
Installation).

CAUTION: Make sure that the inside of 

the pipe ends are clean and free of oil 
residue. 

Torque: 

20 Nm

1. Torque: 10 Nm 
2. Torque: 30 Nm

1. Torque: 2 Nm 
3. Torque: 10 Nm 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. 1. Verify the customer concern. 

2. 2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage.
