A/C Inverter Motor Controller

Removal

1. Disconnect the traction battery auxiliary load

high-voltage connector. Refer to 

 Section

2. Clamp off and disconnect the coolant hoses.

3. Disconnect the two A/C inverter motor

controller (IMC) electrical connectors.

•

One on HVPDB — upper rear.

•

One on A/C IMC.

4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to 

 Section

.

5. Disconnect the IMC electrical connector on the

A/C compressor.

6. Lower the vehicle.

7. Remove the three A/C IMC bolts.

•

One — front, lower.

•

One — rear, lower.

•

One — rear, upper.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

•

After installation, bleed the cooling system.
