Installation 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

TAILGATE RELEASE HANDLE 

Removal and Installation 

Refer to Tailgate Latch Remote Control . 

IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER - NON FUNCTIONAL 

Removal and Installation 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301) and wait at least one minute. 

NOTE:

Make sure the front wheels are in the straight-ahead position.

2. Deactivate the supplemental restraint system (SRS). Refer to DISABLING SYSTEM . 

3. Remove the steering wheel assembly. Refer to WHEEL .  

4. Twist off the cap from the ignition switch cylinder.
