No

Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.

With the DRBIII

, erase FCM DTCs.

Turn the ignition off.

Wait at least 10 seconds.

Turn the ignition on.

With the DRBIII

, read FCM DTCs.

Are any DTCs active present?

Yes

>> Refer to the symptom list for problems related to the Front Control Module.

Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.

No

>> Replace the Front Control Module per Service Information.

Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.

Possible Causes

Turn the ignition on.

Turn the radio on.

, reset the Amplifier.

, read Amplifier DTCs.

Is the DTC: SOFTWARE CHECKSUM FAILURE
active at this time?

Yes

>> Replace the Amplifier in accordance

with the service information.

No

to locate and inspect the related wiring
and connectors.

With the ignition on.

Set Condition:
If the module detects the battery voltage being less and 9.0 volts for greater than 1 second.

INTERMITTENT CONDITION

Cycle the ignition switch from on to off to on.

With the DRBIII

Yes

No

in Data Display, read the Amplifier battery voltage.

Is the voltage less than 9.0 volts?

Yes

>> Go To 3

No

>> Replace the Amplifier per Service Information.
