WIRING HARNESS INSPECTION

Turn the ignition off.

Visually inspect the related wiring harness. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched, or partially broken wires.

Make sure the Pump Motor connector is secure.

Visually inspect the related wire harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals.

Refer to any Technical Service Bulletins that may apply.

Were any problems found?

Yes

>> Repair the Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Signal circuit for a short to voltage.

Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. (Refer to 5 - BRAKES/ELECTRICAL - DIAGNOSIS AND
TESTING)

No

>> Test Complete.

Set Condition:
The CAB is unable to change, recognize or clear a value (bit) in RAM.

NOTE: Diagnose and repair any Powertrain Control Module VIN or Communication DTCs before continuing
with this test.
Turn the ignition on.

With the DRBIII

, clear DTCs.

Turn the ignition off.

Turn the ignition on.

, read DTCs.

Does the DTC reset?

Yes

>> Replace the Controller Antilock Brake in accordance with the Service Information.

Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. (Refer to 5 - BRAKES/ELECTRICAL - DIAGNOSIS AND
TESTING)

No

>> Inspect the wiring harness and connector on the CAB. Check for chafed, pierced, pinched, or partially

broken wires. Check the connector for broken hold down tab, bent or pushed out terminals. repair as
necessary.
