REMOVAL Compressor assembly must be removed from mount- ing. Although, refrigerant removal is not necessary. (1) Remove the compressor shaft bolt (Fig. 1). A band type oil filter removal tool can be placed around (2) Tap the clutch plate with a plastic hammer and remove clutch plate and shim (Fig. 2).
