To suspend display of a
certain type of information:

Press button 4.
Rotate the control 1 to select

the type of information you

wish to suspend.

Press button 1.

The information ﬂ ashes; it will no

longer be displayed.
To quit the selection mode, press

button 4.
Note: The vehicle speed informa-
tion, the "STOP" warning lamp
and the "ESP" warning lamp can-
not be suspended.

To restore display of a type
of information:

Press button 4.
Rotate the control to select the

information you wish to restore,

which ﬂ ashes.

Press button 1.

The information stops ﬂ ashing: it

will be displayed.

The windscreen of the vehicle

guarantees that the Head-up

display operates correctly. If you

need a replacement windscreen,

make sure you obtain this within

the CITROËN network.

When the outside temperature

is between +3 °C and –3 °C, the

temperature display ﬂ ashes (risk

of ice).
Note:  The  outside  temperature
displayed  may  be  higher  than  the
actual temperature if the vehicle is
stationary in bright sunlight.
The  driver  is  advised  not  to  oper-

ate the controls described below

while the vehicle is moving.

Main Menu

Press on button A to bring up the

the ﬁ gure you wish to modify

by using B, then conﬁ rm with a

Note: Activation of this function
is immediate while deactivation

daytime-running lamps:

If you activate the daytime-running

lamps, they come on provided the

signalling control stalk is in posi-

tion 0

and the headlamps are off.

If the daytime-running lamps are

active, the sidelamps will also be

on (depending on country speciﬁ -

cation).

To activate/deactivate
the Xenon dual-function
directional headlamps:

Repeat stages 1 to 3 described

Press B to select the driving

OPERATION

For selection and display of the

various types of information, give

short presses on the end of the

windcsreen wiper stalk.
Press on the "TRIP" button on the

radio panel, for permanent display

of the trip computer information.
To reset the trip computer infor-
mation to zero,

keep the end of

the control stalk pressed for a few

seconds when you see the relevant

information displayed.

The trip computer gives you access to:

Three types of instantaneous information:

Range.

Instantaneous consumption.

Distance remaining to be travelled.

Three types of information for two Journeys 1 and 2:

The distance travelled.

Average consumption.

Average speed.
The Journeys
Journeys 1

and 2 are independent of each other but identical in use.

For example you can allocate Journey 1 to daily calculations and

Journey 2

to monthly calculations.

Resetting a Journey to zero

When the desired Journey is displayed, give a long press on the end

of the wiper control stalk.

Information concerning your vehicle:

The oil temperature (for NaviDrive display only).

The coolant temperature.
The tyre pressures.

Colour screen C

NaviDrive colour display

Range

This is the distance that can still be travelled on the

amount of fuel remaining in the tank. When the dis-

tance that can still be travelled is less than around

30 km (or 20 miles), only four dashes are displayed.

Instantaneous consumption

This is the result from the consumption recorded within

the last 2 seconds. This function will only display

above 30 km / h (18 mph).

Distance to be travelled

To enter it, see "Multifunction display".

Distance travelled

This is the distance that has been travelled since the

last reset to zero of the Journey selected.

Average consumption

This is the relationship between the fuel consumed

and the distance travelled since the last reset to zero

of the trip computer.

Average speed

This is obtained, from the last reset to zero of the trip

computer, by dividing the distance travelled by the time

taken (with ignition switched on).

This gauge informs you of the temperature of the oil in your

engine.

OIL TEMPERATURE (NAVIDRIVE COLOUR DISPLAY)

If the temperature is too high, the gauge indicates the maximum

level and the last, red bar ﬂ ashes.
Contact a CITROËN dealer.

This gauge informs you of the temperature of the

coolant ﬂ uid in your engine.

If the temperature is excessive, the gauge indicates

a maximum level, the "STOP" warning lamp comes

on in the instrument panel as well as on the Head-

Up display.
Stop and contact a CITROËN dealer.

TYRE DEFLATION DETECTION

This function warns you of tyres that are deﬂ ated or punctured, by means of sensors that continuously monitor the

status of the vehicle's wheels, giving you this information on the screen (press the end of the wiper control stalk or on

the "TRIP"

button for a permanent display).

Tyre deﬂ ation alert

The SERVICE

warning lamp comes on and a vehicle outline is displayed.

The location of the wheel(s) concerned is clear from the vehicle outline, on which the affected wheel(s) will be ﬂ ash-

ing. Check the tyre pressures as soon as possible.

Stop immediately, avoiding any sudden actions with the steering wheel or the brakes.
Change the wheel with the affected tyre (whether punctured or very deﬂ ated), then have the tyre repaired and

all the pressures checked at the earliest opportunity.
The wheel with a damaged tyre (either in the boot or under repair) can no longer be detected (information
given by the vehicle outline or by a message) nor is the spare wheel able to be detected.

Puncture

The "STOP"

and tyre(s) punctured warning lamps light up, and a vehicle outline is displayed. The location of the

wheel(s) concerned is clear from the vehicle outline, on which the affected wheel(s) will be ﬂ ashing.

Wheel not detected

The SERVICE

warning lamp comes on and a vehicle outline is displayed.

The wheel(s) concerned can be identiﬁ ed from the vehicle outline, on which it (they) will be missing. If you have not

changed a wheel, such information indicates that the system is malfunctioning.
Contact a CITROËN dealer to have the faulty sensor(s) replaced.

The deﬂ ation detection system is a driving aid, but which does not absolve the driver from the need to be vigilant and

responsible.
This system does not dispense with the requirement to check the tyres on a regular basis (see "Vehicle identiﬁ ca-

tion"), to make sure that the vehicle is behaving correctly and to avoid premature tyre wear arising from driving too

fast etc.
Do not forget to check the pressure in the spare wheel.

Any repair or replacement of a tyre on a wheel that is equipped with a sensor must be carried out
by a CITROËN dealer.

HAZARD WARNING LAMPS

This operates all the direction indi-

cators simultaneously.
Only use them to indicate dan-
ger

, for an emergency stop or for

driving in abnormal conditions.
The hazard lamps can also be

used with the ignition switched off.

SOUND SIGNAL FOR
HEADLAMPS LEFT ON

This operates when the driver's

door is opened, ignition off, to indi-

cate that the vehicle lamps are still

on.
It stops when you close the door,

switch off the lamps or switch on

the ignition.
This signal does not operate if the

automatic lighting of headlamps

or the guide-me-home lighting are

active.

EMERGENCY OPERATION
OF HAZARD WARNING
LAMPS

A sudden deceleration of the vehi-

cle causes the hazard lamps to

come on automatically.
They will cease to operate auto-

matically, or manually if you press

the hazard lamps button on the

dashboard.

The direction indicators cannot operate if the hazard warning

lamps are on.

Rotate the ring A forwards.

AUTOMATIC LIGHTING OF HEADLAMPS

Sidelamps and dipped beams come on automatically in poor ambient light,

or if the wipers are in continuous operation. They go out as soon as the

ambient light again become sufﬁ cient or when the wipers cease to operate.
Activation/deactivation of this function is possible in the menu "Personalisa-

tion/Conﬁ guration" in the "Main menu".
Note: Activation of this function is immediate while deactivation requires the
ignition to be switched off.
Take care not to cover the brightness sensor, which is visible from out-
side the windscreen, behind the interior rear view mirror.

GUIDE-ME-HOME LIGHTING

This function switches on your

headlamps, to light your way when

you wish to walk from a carpark,

for example.
This function is activated:

Manually by pulling the

control A

towards you, with the

ignition switched off.

Automatically, provided:

The automatic lighting of

headlamps is activated.

To activate the guide-me-

home lighting function,

select in the "Main menu",

then in "Personalisation/

Conﬁ guration", the sub-menu

for lighting and signalling,

then activate the function.

Note:  It  is  possible  to  modify  the
duration  of  the  guide-me-home
lighting (approx. 60, 30 or 15 sec-
onds)  in  the  menu  "Personalisa-

tion/Conﬁ guration".

Pull the control stalk towards you to change between dipped beam and

main beam.

Rotate the ring C forwards.

First action rearwards, rear foglamps off.

Note: the foglamps should be used only in fog or in other conditions of poor
visibility.

Lighting

DAYTIME-RUNNING LAMPS

These come on automatically when

the engine is running:

If the function is activated

headlamps are off.

If the daytime-running lamps are

active, the sidelamps will also be

on (depending on country speciﬁ -

cation).

In foggy conditions, if the ambient light is not such that the

headlamps come on automatically, it is up to the driver to switch

on dipped beams, and/or foglamps, manually

FEATURES

With dipped beams or main beams, the Directional headlamps function turns the headlamps in the direction the

road ahead is taking.
Your vision on bends is considerably enhanced.
Note: An automatic correction of the beam height enables you not to dazzle other drivers.

Should there be a malfunction the "Dipped beams" ﬂ ashes. Have the system checked by a CITROËN

dealer.
It is recommended to change both Xenon bulbs at the same time if there is a failure of one of
them.
