Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the A/C High Pressure Switch harness connector.
Connect a jumper wire between the terminals of the A/C High Pressure Switch
harness connector.
Start the engine and turn on the A/C.
Does the A/C operate?
All
Yes
→ Replace the A/C High Pressure Switch.
Perform ROAD TEST VERIFICATION - VER-2.
No
→ Go To 4
NOTE: Reconnect the A/C High Pressure Switch.

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the A/C Low Pressure Switch harness connector.
Connect a jumper wire between the terminals of the A/C Low Pressure Switch
harness connector.
Start the engine and turn on the A/C.
Does the A/C operate?
All
Yes
→ Replace the A/C Low Pressure Switch.
Perform ROAD TEST VERIFICATION - VER-2.
No
→ Go To 5
NOTE: Reconnect the A/C Low Pressure Switch.

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the A/C High Pressure Switch harness connector.
Connect a jumper wire between ground and the A/C High Pressure Signal circuit.
Start the engine and turn on the A/C.
Does the A/C operate?
All
Yes
→ Go To 6
No
→ Go To 8

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the A/C Low Pressure Switch harness connector.
Connect a jumper wire between ground and the A/C Low Pressure Signal circuit.
Start the engine and turn on the A/C.
Does the A/C operate?
All
Yes
→ Go To 7
No
→ Repair the A/C Low Pressure Signal circuit for an open.
NOTE: Reconnect the A/C Low Pressure Switch.

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the A/C Low Pressure Switch harness connector.
Disconnect the A/C-Heater Control Switch harness connector.
Measure the resistance of the A/C Request Signal circuit.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
All
Yes
→ Check the A/C - Heater Control Switch Ground circuit for high
resistance. If it is OK, replace the A/C-Heater Control Switch.
Perform ROAD TEST VERIFICATION - VER-2.
No
→ Repair the A/C Request Signal circuit for an open.
Perform ROAD TEST VERIFICATION - VER-2.
