Chery prescriptive oil and substitute oil 
instruction 

Engine Oil 

According to the instruction manual for this vehicle, the 

recommended engine oil for this vehicle is SAE10W/30-50(SF). 

According to the application status of indigenous engine oil, Shell 

is recommended. (Details refer to chart 1) 

In respect that the imported engine oil is unstable supplied and 

high priced, false and inferior oil are common occurred, we 

remind you to buy and use imported engine oil prudently. 

Recommended imported engine oil refer to chart 2. 

Please DO NOT mix the engine oil together with varied 

manufacturer’s and varied type’s. 

Please make the most use of engine oil that the instruction manual 

and our company recommended. Using unrecommended engine 

oil will cause over-abrasion of the engine or more serious accident, 

such as cylinder pulling or bearing shell burning. 

Fuel Oil 

According to the instruction manual, 93# and upward grading 

indigenous unleaded gasoline are required for this vehicle. 

The downward grading gasoline or inferior gasoline will reduce 

the service life of the engine, and we will not provide service 

guarantee for the failure caused by this issue. 

Transmission Gear Oil 

The transmission gear oil for manual transmission vehicle is GL-4, 

SAE75W-90 or Force 75V, for automatic transmission vehicle is 

DEXROND-21065. Please DO NOT mix the gear oil together 

with varied type.
