Confirm ATF oil level.  
1. Park the automobile on a flat and even floor.  

2. Shift the gear successively to each position, inject ATF into the torque converter and oil circuit 
and then place the gear lever on N.  
3. Clean all filth around the dip stick and take it out to confirm the ATF oil level.  
Note: if ATF smells burned and appears black, there must be something wrong with the gearbox, 
in which case, the idle speed test shall not be carried out.  
4. Check if ATF oil level is at the HOT mark. If the level is lower than the mark, please fill in 
more ATF until the level reaches the HOT mark.

mode position), then measure the oil pressure of underdrive clutch, low/reverse-gear brake and 
hydraulic torque converter at an engine rotation speed of 2.500rmp.
