Assembly Steps:

llowing steps for assembly:  

. Fix low/reverse-gear brake piston, 
ffsetting spring and spring hub. Make 

re that the notch is aligned with the 

xing notch of the outer cover.  

. Install one new seal washer in the inner 

ng of the unidirectional clutch.  

. Check the position of identification 
otches of the unidirectional clutch inner 

ng. Install clutch inner ring onto gearbox 

riving wheel bearing and align the 
otches with the A-A line.  

 
 

 

Assembly of main gearbox cover 
The schematic drawing after disassembly 
is attached hereafter for your reference
help distinguish the various parts
1. Fix the transfer case drive gear with the 
special tool MB998412.  
2. Apply the required tightening torque
the set bolts of the drive gear shaft of the 
transfer case until they are tightened.  
Standard torque: 34Nm (1.9kg-m) bo
