Two. System component engine control module
(ECM)
1. Functions and principles
The engine control module is one microprocessor
based on a singlechip. Its main function is to
process the data from all sensors located in
different parts of the vehicle and judge the
working status of the vehicle for the accurate
control of the engine through the actuator.

16M clock frequency;
128K FLASH memory
8K RAM memorizer;
2K EEPROM memorizer;
Working parameters
- Working voltage range
- Normal working voltage range: 9.0V – 16V
- Overvoltage and reversed polarization protection:
+24V/-12V < 60s
- Location
ECM is located inside the engine room and on the
lower left part of the windscreen;
ECM casing and set bolts must be insulated from
the vehicle body.

- Storage temperature: -40 ～125℃
- Working temperature: -40 ～105℃
