4.1.5 Remove the interior decorative frame (pull it down 

in the direction shown in the figure). Take care not 

to damage control buttons. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.1.6 Move the fixing clip toward computer case, unplug 

the connection between motor and SCU, then 

detach the fixing hook between SCU and motor to 

separate motor and SCU for replacement. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.1.7 Unplug wire harness connecting SCU and remove 

the four fixing bolts to take off motor and SCU. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.1.8 Install new motor and SCU in the reverse order in 

step 7.

4.1.9 Proceed with installation in the reverse order in 

step 6. 

Pay attention to the engagement between motor 

driving shaft and gear. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.1.10 Fix interior decorative frame (push it up in the 

direction shown in the figure with clip aligned 

with clip slot). Add an under-laying strip if 

necessary. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     

 

 

4.1.11 Tighten the fixing bolts of interior decorative

4.2 Disassembling/assembling sunroof 

   

   

Disassembling procedure 

4.2.1 Open sunroof. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.2.2 Turn off ignition switch and press and hold control 

button to prevent sunroof from automatically 

shutting. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.2.3 Take off the control panel cover plate. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.2.4 Remove the two fixing bolts in front part of interior 

decorative frame.
