DTC 13-5 CAUTION: Whenever the ignition switch is ON (II), or Does the SRS indicator light stay on? YES NO Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. See Is the connections OK? YES NO Poor contact at the SRS floor harness 4P connector; con- Check for a short to power or ground or another wire in the nals of the SRS floor harness 18P connector, between the No. 13 and No. 7 terminals of the SRS floor harness 18P connector, between the No. 13 and No. 1 terminals of the SRS floor harness 18P connector, and between the No. 13 terminal of the SRS floor harness 18P connector and body ground. Is the resistance as specified? YES NO Short to power or ground or another wire in the SRS floor harness; replace the SRS floor harness. Check for an open in the SRS floor harness: 1. Connect the special tool to the SRS floor harness 4P con- ). 2. Check resistance between the No. 13 terminal of the SRS floor harness 18P connector and the No. 4 terminal of the Wire side of female terminals Is the resistance as specified? Wire side of Try to reproduce the SRS indicator light: 1. Erase the DTC memory (see page ). 2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator light comes on for about 6 seconds, and then Check for poor contact at the SRS floor harness 4P connec- tor: 1.
