Dust & Pollen Filter - RL

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

CABIN AIR FILTER

Removal & Installation (2005-2006)

1. Remove the glove box housing. See GLOVE BOX HOUSING . Remove the dust and pollen filter

assembly from the evaporator. See Fig. 1 .

2. Remove the filter (A) from the housing (B), and replace the filter. See Fig. 2 .

NOTE:

Manufacturer's terminology for this filter is dust and pollen filter.

3. Install the filter in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there is no air leaking out of the

evaporator.

GLOVE BOX HOUSING

Removal & Installation

1. Remove the passenger's dashboard under cover (A). Gently pull down the front edge to detach the

clips (B). See Fig. 3 . Disconnect the ambient light connector (C). Pull the cover away to release the
pins (D) from the holders (E).

2. Open the glove box (A) and document tray (B). Remove the lid (C), then remove the screws (D) and

bolt (E). See Fig. 4 .

3. Close the glove box (A), then remove the bolts from the lower edge. See Fig. 5 .
