Disassembly and Assembly Section
4. Install washer (6) and nut (5).
5. Tighten nut (5) to a torque of 13 ± 1.5 N·m
(115 ± 13 lb in).

6. Install O-ring seal (4).
7. Install modulating control valve (3) and install bolts
(2). Torque bolts (2) to a torque of 30 ± 4 N·m
(22 ± 3 lb ft).
8. Connect harness assembly (1).
9. Repeat steps 1 through 8 for the remaining valves.

Removal Procedure
NOTICE
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained
during performance of inspection, maintenance, test-
ing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to
collect the fluid with suitable containers before open-
ing any compartment or disassembling any compo-
nent containing fluids.
Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, “Caterpillar
Dealer Service Tool Catalog” for tools and supplies
suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar
products.
Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and
mandates.
