SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

1. GENERAL

The windshield deicer switch is built into the mirror heater switch.

deicer wire)

Receives power from windshield deicer relay assembly and heats windshield

glass (windshield deicer wire)

VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

(a) Measure the battery voltage.

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Check if the LIN communication system is functioning normally
