Remove the rear door service hole cover LH

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH

(a) for Double Cab:

Remove the rear door glass run LH

(b) for CrewMax:

Remove the rear door glass run LH

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR LOWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) for Double Cab:

Remove the rear door rear lower window frame sub-assembly LH

(b) for CrewMax:

Remove the rear door rear lower window frame sub-assembly LH 

 

.

10. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) for Double Cab:

Remove the rear door glass sub-assembly LH 

 

.

(b) for CrewMax:

Remove the rear door glass sub-assembly LH 

 

.

11. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) for Double Cab:

Remove the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH 

 

.

(b) for CrewMax:

Remove the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH 

 

.

12. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) for Double Cab:

Using a T25 "TORX" driver, remove the 3 screws and motor.

NOTICE:

Be careful when removing the screws as the motor may fall and

become damaged.

(b) for CrewMax:

WINDSHIELD / WINDOWGLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATO...

Using a T25 "TORX" driver, remove the 3 screws and motor.

INSPECTION

1. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (for Double Cab)

(a) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

(b) Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

OK:

MEASUREMENT CONDITION

SPECIFIED CONDITION

Battery positive (+) → 1
Battery negative (-) → 2

Motor gear rotates counterclockwise

Battery positive (+) → 2
Battery negative (-) → 1

Motor gear rotates clockwise

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH.
