c. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.

21. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 

a. Remove the screw and reclining adjuster inside cover.

22. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 

a. Remove the screw and reclining adjuster inside cover.

23. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 

a. Remove the screw.  

b. Detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover.

24. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 

a. Remove the screw.  

b. Detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover.  

25. REMOVE LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 

a. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the seat cushion shield. 

HINT: 

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

26. REMOVE LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH 

a. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the seat cushion shield.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use. 

27. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU 

a. Disconnect the 2 ECU connectors.  

b. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the ECU.

28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH  

REASSEMBLY 

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH  

2. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU 

a. Attach the claw to install the ECU.  

b. Connect the 2 ECU connectors. 

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may 

injure your hands.

3. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH 

a. Attach the claw to install the cushion shield.

4. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 

a. Attach the claw to install the cushion shield.  

5. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 

a. Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.  

b. Install the screw.

6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 

a. Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.  

b. Install the screw.  

7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 

a. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover with the screw.
