Check that the MIL illuminates when turning the ignition switch to ON. If the MIL does not illuminate, there is a problem in MIL CIRCUIT . b. When the engine is started, the MIL should turn off. DTC CHECK/CLEAR 1. CHECK DTC a. DTCs which are stored in the ECM can be displayed on the Techstream. The Techstream can display pending DTCs and current DTCs. Some DTCs are not stored unless a 1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. 2. Turn the ignition switch to ON. 3. Turn the Techstream on. 4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine and ECT/Trouble Codes. 5.
