INSPECTION

INSPECT PURGE VSV 

a

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below  

Standard resistance

If the result is not as specified, replace the purge VSV

Inspect the purge VSV operation

Check that air does not flow from ports

Apply battery voltage across the terminals

Check that air flows from ports  

If operation is not as specified, replace the purge VSV  

INSTALLATION

INSTALL PURGE VSV 

a

Install the purge VSV with the bolt  

Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

Connect the connector

CONNECT PURGE LINE HOSE

Connect the 2 hoses

HINT: 

Turn the clip claw to the upper side

INSTALL V-BANK COVER (See INSTALLATION )  

FUEL TANK CAP 

INSPECTION

INSPECT FUEL TANK CAP ASSEMBLY 

a

Visually check if the cap and/or gasket are deformed or damaged  

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel tank cap assembly or gasket
