Connect the vent line hose

Push the hose into the port and push the retainer to lock it

Connect the air inlet line hose  

NOTE:



Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected 
part.  



After connecting, check that the vent hose and the valve 
are securely connected by pulling on them.

Connect the wiring harness clamp bracket with the nut  

Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part.

After connecting, check that the vent hose and the valve are 
securely connected by pulling on them.  

NOTE:

Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see 
INITIALIZATION ).

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

NOTE:



Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected 
(see INITIALIZATION ).  



After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system 
requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of

REMOVE PURGE VSV

Disconnect the purge VSV connector

Disconnect the 2 purge line hoses

Remove the bolt and purge VSV   

INSPECTION

INSPECT PURGE VSV 

a

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below  

Standard resistance  

PURGE VSV STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION 

memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch 
OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from 
the negative (-) battery terminal.
