Remove gasket

Remove bottom cover cap

Remove nut

If necessary

Use tool 9774.

Mount tool 9423.

Extract kingpin 

 (10).

Pressing force: 35 tonnes.

Remove stub axle

 (8).

Remove gasket

 (14).

Mark the direction of seal

 (14).

Extract inner ring

 (A) from bearing  (5).

Use 2 levers

 (B).

Extract outer ring

 (A) from bearing  (5).

Use tool 8511.

Outer ring

 (A) is a loose fit in the stub axle.

If shims

 (6) are fitted, save them.

Remove seal

 (7).

Use a drift

 (A).
