A low-mount multilink suspension system is used to 
reduce road noise, making the vehicle quieter at all 
suspension arms except a trailing arm connected to 
the crossmembers with an elastic structure.

LARGER TREAD

Handling stability is enhanced by the wider tread.

ALIGNMENT CHARACTERISTICS

Each suspension arm is lengthened as much as pos-
sible to make the most of the advantages of indepen-
dent suspension for optimal toe and camber change.

SUSPENSION RIGIDITY

The longitudinal and vertical span of the upper 
arm, lower arm and toe control arm are expanded 
as much as possible, ensuring a suspension 
rigidity and enhancing handling stability. The trail-
ing arm bushing diameter is enlarged as much as 
possible.

Ball joint and pillow ball bushing are incorporated 
for the junctions of the toe control arm and lower 
arm for better rigidity and reduced friction, 
enhancing riding comfort.

CROSSMEMBER

For enhanced rigidity and reduced weight of the suspension 
attachment sections, a latticework construction is used.

Rubber bushings are used at the point of attachment with 
the body for an elastic construction, to reduce road noise.

SHOCK ABSORBER AND COIL SPRING

.

Installation position to the body is changed from 
the upper side of wheel housing to near the side 
member with high rigidity to enhance handling 
stability and noise.
