ACCESSORY SOCKET AND CIGARETTE LIGHTER CHASSIS ELECTRICAL 54A-274 (3) Voltage between C-51 accessory socket (front floor console) connector terminal No.2 and the OK: System voltage (4) Voltage between C-18 accessory socket (rear floor console) connector terminal No.2 and the OK: System voltage Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 7. NO <accessory socket (front floor console) side> : Go to Step 5. NO <accessory socket (rear floor console) side> : Go to Step 6. STEP 5. Check the wiring harness between C-51 • Check the power supply lines (battery power sup- ply) for open circuit and short circuit. Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 7. NO : Repair the wiring harness. STEP 6. Check the wiring harness between C-18 • Check the power supply lines (battery power sup- ply) for open circuit and short circuit. NOTE: Check C-19 intermediate connector, and Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 7. NO : Repair the wiring harness. STEP 7. Resistance measurement at C-51 resistance available at the wiring harness side of the connector. (2) Check the continuity between C-51 accessory socket (front floor console) connector terminal OK: Continuity exists (2 ohms or less) (3) Check the continuity between C-18 accessory socket (rear floor console) connector terminal OK: Continuity exists (2 ohms or less) Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 10. NO <accessory socket (front floor console) side> : Go to Step 8. NO <accessory socket (rear floor console) side> : Go to Step 9. STEP 8. Check the wiring harness between C-51 • Check the body earth wires for open circuit. Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 10. NO : Repair the wiring harness. STEP 9. Check the wiring harness between C-18 • Check the body earth wires for open circuit. NOTE: Check C-19 intermediate connector, and Q: Is the check result normal? YES : Go to Step 10. NO : Repair the wiring harness. STEP 10. Retest the system Q: Is the check result normal? YES : The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 − How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service − How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ). NO : Replace the accessory socket. |
