Sunroof lid slide guide

CAUTION

Before removing the sunroof lid slide guide rear-
ward, make the marking on the sunroof housing 
as shown in the figure to indicate the sunroof lid 
glass fully closed position.

CAUTION

Grease is applied to the sunroof drive belt. Pre-
vent dust from adhering to the surface because it 
may cause abnormal noise or malfunction.
Slide the sunroof lid slide guide rearward, and 
remove the sunroof drive belt from the guide.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT

>>A<< SUNROOF LID SLIDE GUIDE INSTALLA-
TION
1. Install the sunroof lid slide guide and the sunroof 

drive belt to the sunroof housing.

2. Push in the sunroof lid slide guide and the sunroof 

drive belt to the front side of the sunroof housing 
until they stop.

CAUTION

Position the sunroof lid slide guide properly, or 
the sunroof may not operate normally.

3. Set the sunroof lid slide guide to the position of 

the marking on the sunroof housing made at 
removal step as shown in the figure. 

GREASE APPLICATION
Apply the grease to the sunroof drive cable, rotating 
or sliding portions of functional parts (Refer to the fig-
ure entitled "Grease application locations").

Specified Grease: Molykote G-1023 (Dow 
Corning CO., LTD.) or equivalent
