Symptom: P0480-COOLING FAN NO.1 CONTROL CIRCUIT When Monitored and Set Condition: P0480-COOLING FAN NO.1 CONTROL CIRCUIT When Monitored: With the ignition on. Battery voltage greater than 10 volts. Set Condition: An open or shorted circuit is detected in the radiator fan relay control circuit. POSSIBLE CAUSES LOW SPEED RADIATOR FAN RELAY OPERATION LOW SPEED RADIATOR FAN RELAY (F20) FUSED IGNITION SWITCH OUTPUT CIRCUIT (A16) FUSED B+ CIRCUIT (N201) LOW SPEED RAD FAN RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN (N201) LOW SPEED RAD FAN RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND PCM TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY 1 Ignition on, engine not running. t, actuate the Low Speed Radiator Fan Relay. Is the Radiator Fan Relay cycling on and off? All Yes → Refer to the INTERMITTENT CONDITION Symptom (Diagnos- tic Procedure). No → Go To 2 2 Turn the ignition off.
