Circuit Operation
The powertrain control module (PCM) receives inputs
from switches and sensors, and controls the functions
of transmission mode.
The powertrain control module
(PCM) also controls the “POWER DRIVE”, “WINTER
DRIVE”, AND “CHECK TRANS” indicator lights and
allows for diagnostic testing through the tech-1
connector.
Refer to Section 7 of the Workshop Manual for further
transmission diagnosis.
