4. Install a new output shaft to input carrier retainer (661). 

IMPORTANT:

Do not reuse the old output shaft to input carrier retainer 
(661).  

Do not over expand the new output shaft to input carrier 
retainer during installation.

5. Remove the J 29837-A . See Special Tools.

1. Remove the reverse input clutch housing and drum assembly (605) from the input clutch

assembly (621).  

2. Remove the stator shaft/selective washer bearing assembly (615).  

3. Remove the selective thrust washer (616).
