Component Test 

Switch - Exterior Rear View Mirror Control 

Measure the resistance between the following terminals while pressing the switch in the requested directions:

If the resistance is less than 5 ohms in each direction, return to the originating pinpoint test; otherwise, install a 
new switch. 

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 

EXTERIOR MIRROR 

Removal 

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .  

2. Remove the exterior rear view mirror. 

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.  

2. Disconnect the wiring clips.  

3. Remove the nuts.  

4. Remove the exterior rear view mirror.

3. Feed the power mirror wiring through the opening in the front door (20124).
