2. Perform the Pressure Relief - Fuel Tank Venting procedure; Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE 

RELEASE .  

3. Disconnect the battery ground cable.  

4. Remove the in-bed tank assembly cover. 

1. Remove the retaining bolts.  

2. Remove the in-bed tank assembly cover.

5. Disconnect the fuel tank assembly solenoid valves. 

1. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear in-bed fuel tank solenoid valve.  

2. Disconnect the jumper fuel line from the rear in-bed fuel tank solenoid valve.

6. Place identification marks on the upper in-bed fuel tank straps and tank.  

7. Remove the upper in-bed fuel tank straps. 

1. Remove the retaining bolts.  

2. Remove the upper in-bed fuel tank straps.

8. Position the heavy duty floor crane, separator lift bar and endless lifting slings.
