Symptom: PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH OPEN/SHORT TO VOLTAGE When Monitored and Set Condition: PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH OPEN/SHORT TO VOLTAGE When Monitored: Whenever the ignition is in the RUN or ACCESSORY position. Set Condition: When the BCM senses that the voltage on the Passenger Window Switch Mux circuit is over 4.5 volts for longer than 31 milliseconds. POSSIBLE CAUSES DTC PRESENT SWITCH OPEN PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH RETURN WIRE OPEN PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH MUX WIRE OPEN PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH MUX WIRE SHORT TO VOLTAGE BODY CONTROL MODULE - PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT OPEN BODY CONTROL MODULE - PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT SHORT TO VOLT- BODY CONTROL MODULE - PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH RETURN OPEN TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY 1 Turn the ignition on. t, erase DTCs. Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run. t, read DTCs. Does the DRBIII t display PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH OPEN/SHORT TO VOLTAGE?? All Yes → Go To 2 No → The condition that caused the code to set is not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the 2 Turn the ignition off.
