(6) Install the headlamp washer nozzle covers

(Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/WIPERS/WASHERS/
WASHER NOZZLE - INSTALLATION).

FRONT BUMPER
REINFORCEMENT

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the fascia. (Refer to 13 - FRAME &

BUMPERS/BUMPERS/FRONT

(2) Remove the bolts and remove the hood release

handle. (Fig. 5)

(3) Remove the nuts and remove the reinforce-

ment. (Fig. 2)

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the reinforcement and install the nuts.
(2) Tighten the nuts to 54 N·m (40 ft. lbs.).
(3) Install the hood release handle and install the

bolts.

(4) Install the front fascia. (Refer to 13 - FRAME

& BUMPERS/BUMPERS/FRONT FASCIA - INSTAL-
LATION)

(1) Remove the fascia (Refer to 13 - FRAME &

BUMPERS/BUMPERS/FRONT

REMOVAL).

(2) Remove the bolts and remove the hood release

handle. (Fig. 6)

(3) Disconnect the headlamp washer main hose

from the lower washer reservoir (Fig. 7).

(4) Remove the nuts and remove the reinforce-

ment.

INSTALLATION - EXPORT

NOTE: If installing a new bumper reinforcement,
use the supplied template to cut the holes for the
headlamp washer nozzles.

(1) Install the reinforcement and install the nuts.
(2) Tighten the nuts to 54 N·m (40 ft. lbs.).
(3) Connect the headlamp washer main hose to the

lower washer reservoir.

(4) Install the hood release handle and install the

bolts.

(5) Install the front fascia (Refer to 13 - FRAME &

BUMPERS/BUMPERS/FRONT FASCIA - INSTAL-
LATION).

REAR FASCIA

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the rear wheelhouse splash shields.

(Refer to 23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/REAR WHEEL-
HOUSE SPLASH SHIELD - REMOVAL)

(2) Remove the tail lamp units and position aside.

Refer to the LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR of the
service manual.

(3) Remove the nuts attaching fascia to the rear

quarter. (Fig. 8)

(4) Remove the lower fascia screws.
(5) Remove the upper fascia push pin fasteners.

(Fig. 9)

(6) Remove the fascia and disconnect the turn sig-

nal lamp electrical connectors.

(7) Remove the clips and remove the turn signal

lamp units. (Fig. 10)

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the turn signal lamp units and install

the clips.

(2) Position the fascia onto the vehicle and connect

the turn signal lamp electrical connector.

(3) Install the six upper fascia push pin fasteners.
(4) Install the lower fascia to belly pan bolts.
(5) Install the nuts attaching the fascia to the rear

quarter panel and tighten to 6 N·m (50 in lbs.).

(6) Install the tail lamp units. Refer to the

LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR of the service man-
ual.

REAR BUMPER FOAM

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the rear fascia. (Refer to 13 - FRAME &

BUMPERS/BUMPERS/REAR FASCIA - REMOVAL)

(2) Remove the push pin fasteners and remove the

foam (Fig. 11).

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the foam and install the push pin fas-

teners.

(2) Install the rear fascia. (Refer to 13 - FRAME &

BUMPERS/BUMPERS/REAR FASCIA - INSTALLA-
TION)

REAR BUMPER

REMOVAL

(1) Remove the rear bumper foam. (Refer to 13 -

FRAME & BUMPERS/BUMPERS/REAR BUMPER
FOAM - REMOVAL)

(2) Remove the bumper nuts and remove the

bumper beam. (Fig. 12)

INSTALLATION

(1) Install the bumper beam and install the nuts.
(2) Tighten the nuts to 54 N·m (40 ft. lbs.).

(3) Install the rear bumper foam. (Refer to 13 -

FRAME & BUMPERS/BUMPERS/REAR BUMPER
FOAM - INSTALLATION)
