Symptom: COOLDOWN TEST TOO COLD TO START - MTC When Monitored and Set Condition: COOLDOWN TEST TOO COLD TO START - MTC When Monitored: When executing the AC Cooldown Test. Set Condition: This message will be displayed if the A/C Heater Control sees evaporator temperature below 12.7°C (55°F) when executing the AC Cooldown Test. POSSIBLE CAUSES EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE TOO LOW ACTIVE HVAC DTC(S) PRESENT POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) DTC(S) PRESENT A/C HEATER CONTROL EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR/SENSOR CIRCUITS TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY 1 CAUTION: The evaporator temperature must be above 12.7°C (55°F) and the t, actuate the AC Cooldown Test. Does the DRBIII t display: Cooldown Test Too Cold To Start? All Yes → Go To 2 No → Perform additional testing as necessary. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. 2 CAUTION: The evaporator temperature must be above 12.7°C (55°F) and the t, read Active HVAC DTCs. Does the DRBIII t display any DTCs? All Yes → Return to the Heating & A/C symptom list and choose the symptom(s). After the repair is complete, erase the DTC(s), and No → Go To 3 569 HEATING & A/C |
