Perform TEST SYMPTOM IDENTIFICATION 1A Before Proceeding

With the DRB, select ‘‘Body’’, ‘‘Audio Systems’’.

A. If the DRB displays ‘‘No Response’’ . . . . . . . .perform ‘‘Vehicle Communication’’ TEST 1A.

B. If any other communication problem exists. . .perform ‘‘Vehicle Communication’’ TEST 1A.

1. With the DRB, read DTC’s. If there are any disgnostic trouble codes . . . . .perform TEST 1B.

2. If any of the following radio failures exist, exchange the radio.

IDENTIFYING RADIO (PCI BUS) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCs)

Perform TEST 1A Before Proceeding

The following is a list of diagnostic trouble codes that may occur on the vehicle and that are
diagnosable via the PCI Bus connector. These trouble codes may occur separately or in various
combinations. When diagnosing a radio with trouble codes, perform the indicated action or test,
make the required repairs, and verify that the problem has been corrected.
