Chery International                               Instrument panel 

This   lamp   does   work   only   when   the
ignition key is ON. 

If  the  manual brake is pulled to, this
lamp will light persistently. 

Braking   system   warning
lamp

This   lamp   does   work   only   when   the
ignition key is ON.

If  the  manual brake is pulled to, this
lamp will light persistently. 

In the case that the lamp still light after
the manual brake is released, shall get
to   the   nearest   Chery   Authorized
Service Station as soon as possible to
check this system.

If   the   braking   system
warning   lamp   lights

during driving, it indicates there
is something wrong with one of
dual-brake circuits.  In this case,
drive  carefully   to  the   nearest
Chery   Authorized   Service
Station   to   make   this   system
examined   and   repaired   by
professional   staff.  Considering
the  serious decrease of braking
performance   and   the   extension
of   braking   distance,   you   shall
keep   longer   distance   from   the
previous  vehicle  during driving,
and   shall   take   the   increase   of
pressure   applied  on   pedal  into
consideration. 

If   both   the   ABS   warning   lamp

and the braking system warning
lamp   light   simultaneously   and
persistently,   shall   stop   the
vehicle   immediately   under   the
condition   of   security   warranty.
Prior   to  continuing  your   travel,
please take your car to the Chery
Authorized   Service   Station   to
check the braking system.

Door open warning lamp

When the ignition key is ON, this lamp
will light if any vehicle door isn’t closed
properly.

Position indicator (green)

When the position lamp is turned on,
this indicator lights.

Seat belt warning lamp

This   lamp   lights   and   prompts   the
driver  to   fasten  the  safety  belt  if  the
driver   doesn’t   fasten   it   when   the
ignition key is ON.

Engine   trouble   warning
lamp

When   the   ignition   key   is   ON,   this
warning   lamp   lights   and   the   electric
control system of the engine is  in the
state   of   self-checking.  If   there   is   no
trouble   in   this   system,   then   the
warning lamp turns off after the engine
starts   up,   and   if   the   warning   lamp
lights persistently, the engine must be
checked.   If   the   warning   lamp   lights
during   driving,   it   indicates   there   is
something   wrong   with   the   electric
control   system   of  the  engine,   please
get   to   the   nearest   Chery   Authorized
Service Station as soon as possible to
make your car examined and repaired.

High beam indicator

When   the   high  beam   is   used  or   the
front  headlamp  flashes,  this indicator
lights. 

Turn signal indicators

They   are   divided   into   the   turn   left
signal indicator and turn right indicator.
When   the   turn   left   lamp   or   the   turn
right   lamp   is   turned   on,   the
corresponding   turn   signal   indicator
also  flashed   (slowly)  together  with  it.
When   the  hazardous  flash   warning
lamp   is   turned   on,   the   turn   left/right
lamp   and   the   turn   left/right   signal
indicator will flash simultaneously. 

If  the flashing  rate  of  the turn  signal
indicator   is   quicken   to   the  twice  of

original   value,   it   indicates   there   is   a
trouble in the corresponding turn lamp,
and shall get to the Chery Authorized
Service Station to check this system.

Safety   airbag   warning
lamp

When   the   ignition   key   is   ON,   the
trouble indicator shall flash six times,
and   then   extinguishes.   If   the   trouble
indicator   lights  continuously  for   6
seconds   and   then   extinguishes,   it
indicates there are trouble codes but
they make no influence on the normal
operation of the safety airbag system. 

If   this   lamp   lights   during   driving,   it
indicates   there   are   some   troubles   in
this system. In the case, take it to the
Chery   Authorized   Service   Station   to
check this system.

Low   engine   oil   pressure
warning lamp 

When the ignition key is ON, this lamp
flashes,   and   shall   extinguishes   after
the engine starts up. If this lamp still
light persistently after the engine starts
up   or   if   this   lamp   flashes   when   the
engine   speed   is   greater   than   2,000
rpm   during   driving,   please   stop   your
car   immediately,   turn   off   the   engine
and check the engine oil level.

If   the   oil   level   is   over-low,   shall   add
engine oil immediately.

If the engine oil is used
out   too   quickly,   please

get   to   the   Chery   Authorized
Service Station to have your car
checked.

Low beam indicator

When the ignition key is ON and the
low   beam   lamp   is   turned   on,  this
indicator will be on. 

Generator warning lamp

The lamp shall light when the ignition

key is ON, and extinguishes after the
engine starts up.

If the lamp doesn’t extinguish or if it
lights   during   driving,   stop  your   car
immediately,  shut  off the  engine  and
check the belt of the generator.

If the belt of the generator is normal,
drive to the nearest Chery Authorized
Service   Station   immediately   to   make
your  car  examined and  repaired,  but
the battery shall discharge persistently
during driving. In this case, shut off all
unnecessary 

electric   appliances,

including the air conditioning system.

If the belt of the generator has already
damaged,   then   can’t   drive
continuously.   In   this   case,   your   car
must be examined and repaired by the

professional staff.

Coolant temperature alarm
lamp

After the ignition key is ON, this lamp
lights   for   several   seconds,   and   then
extinguishes. If the lamp still light after
several seconds or if the lamp flashes
due   to   the   over-high   temperature   of
the coolant during driving, at the same
time, the buzzer gives an alarm, then
stop your car immediately, shut off the
engine and check the fluid level of the
coolant,   and   add   the   coolant   as
required. At the same time, contact the
Chery   Authorized   Service   Station.

NOTICE:   in   this   case,   don’t   drive
continuously. 

Beware of scalding!

If the engine is hot,  the

cooling   system   is   in   high
temperature,

 high-pressure

state.   Thus,   take   care   to   open
the  radiator  cap  only   after   the
engine is cold. 

Don’t touch the radiator-fan!
