1.6、Transmission general check 

The following points must be checked:   

Correct oil level 

Checking fluid level when engine idle. 

Checking fluid level after fluid temperature rises to 80ºC. 

Fluid level must be between Max. and Min. mark. 

 

Low fluid level 

Engine running, but no power transferred to transmission, pump does not transfer power. 

Abnormal sound from transmission when turning. 

 

High fluid level 

Air bubble occurs in transmission, causing power consumption. High fluid temperature when operating in high 

speed. Oil evaporates into atmosphere. 

 

Proper engine adjustment 

Seeking proper idle speed from whole vehicle manufacturer. 

 

Power transmission (forward and reverse) 

It is required to properly adjust the power transmission mechanism. 

 

Stalling speed 

Stalling speed range:2100±150rpm 

 

Shifting point 

No early or late shifting. 

 

Shifting quality 

Adjust

 

throttle cable 

Correct adjustment to accelerating unit is required. 

 

Noise   

Noise detection

2、A/T internal disassembling 

 

2.1、Assembly removing 

Support transmission assembly with 5 x 46 000 

244 braket and drain oil. 

 

Remove converter carrier. 

 

 

 

 

 

Remove torque converter with special tool 5 x 56 

000 090. 

NOTE: when removing torque converter, prevent 

oil leaking as possible and do not damage oil 

pump bushing and sealing ring lip. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Loosen oil pan mounting bolt.   

Tool: Using 27# inner socket spanner, remove oil 

pan and gasket.

Remove 10 valve plate mounting bolts with 

10 big size bolt head. 

Tool: 27# quincunx socket spanner. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Turn over transmission by 90 degree, remove 

17 mounting bolts on the converter housing. 

Tool: 13# socket spanner 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remove converter housing. 

NOTE: Speedmeter drive gear may drop off. 

Remove the gasket
