Preliminary work for dryer

1. Remove cover on left for plenum chamber. → 852219 Removing and installing cover - removing

2. Drain refrigerant for air-conditioning system with one air-conditioning unit. → 870317 Draining and filling

Tools and materials

Tools for air-conditioning compressor

Installation Location:

Installation position

The desiccator (fluid tank) is located under the left plenum chamber cover .

Removing desiccator

1. Unscrew the fastening nuts -1- on the fluid tank

2. Undo fastening screws -2- .

3. Unscrew the fastening clamp -3- and remove the fluid tank

upwards.

4. In any case, replace the desiccator.

In any case, replace O-rings for the refrigerant lines and wet the new rings with refrigerant oil.
Only install a new desiccator.

1. Position the fluid tank, connect the refrigerant lines and secure with the fastening screws -2- . → M6:

4.5 ftlb.

2. Connect the air-conditioning line -1- and tighten with

fastening nut.

3. Tighten the hose clamp -3- .

4. Determine the quantity of refrigerant oil. →   Technical data for the air-conditioning system, volume

removed by suction + 30 cm

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for the dryer

1. Fill in refrigerant correctly. → 870317 Draining and filling in refrigerant -

filling in

2. Install cover on left for plenum chamber. → 852219 Removing and installing cover - installing

997110, 997111, 997120, 997121, 997310, 997311, 997320, 997321, 997410, 997411, 997430, 997431,
997610, 997611, 997620, 997621

WARNUNG

Gefahr des Verlusts der Text-Bild-Zuordnung beim Ausdruck.

Aus technischen Gründen kann derzeit nicht ausgeschlossen werden, dass trotz
einwandfreier Darstellung auf dem Bildschirm beim Ausdruck der
Zusammenhang von Text und zugehörigem Bild verloren geht.

Wird der Fehler nicht bemerkt, besteht die Gefahr, daß Arbeiten nicht korrekt
durchgeführt werden und es dadurch zu Personen- und Sachschäden kommt.

→ Vergleichen Sie deshalb nach dem Druckvorgang unbedingt die Ausdrucke mit der
Bildschirmdarstellung. Korrigieren Sie die Ausdrucke im Fehlerfall so, daß der Inhalt der
Bildschirmdarstellung zutreffend wiedergegeben wird.
