2. Check fastening clips -3- , and replace if necessary.

3. Press plastic strip -2- on cover for backrest -1- into the fixing clips -3-

.

4. Engage cover piping -1- right and left into backrest frame

5. Press connection of backrest cover -1- sideways into the backrest frame -2- with a plastic wedge -3- .

6. Press cover for backrest -1- into the backrest shell -2- lower left and right using a screwdriver -3- .

Marking seat-belt guide mounting points

Note

If the backrest cover -1- has been replaced after repairs, the seat-belt guide mounting points must be measured
again and marked.

Mark upper mounting point with the dimensions -A= 95 mm- and -B= 50 mm- .

Mark lower mounting point with the dimensions -C= 25 mm- and -D= 155 mm- .

•

1. Position seat-belt guide -1- with sleeve -5- with the aid of the marking on the backrest cover.

2. Tighten fastening screw -3- with spacer -4- .

3. Press in -2- cap

4. Position push button -3- with the aid of the marking on the backrest cover -Arrow A- and screw down

with the fastening screw -2- .

5. Press seat-belt guide -1- into push button -3- at top -Arrow

Subsequent work

Removing creases in the cover

ATTENTION

Danger of material damage if excessive heat is applied.

→ If creases have formed, only short partial warming with the hot-air gun is permissible.

→ The hot-air temperature of approx. 50 degrees Celsius (122 Fahrenheit) must always be

observed.

If creases have formed in areas of the cover, partially heat them with the hot-air gun and smooth out with the
tool.

3. Install cover for front centre backrest. → 742019 Removing and installing cover for front centre backrest -

WARNUNG

Gefahr des Verlusts der Text-Bild-Zuordnung beim Ausdruck.

Aus technischen Gründen kann derzeit nicht ausgeschlossen werden, dass trotz
einwandfreier Darstellung auf dem Bildschirm beim Ausdruck der
Zusammenhang von Text und zugehörigem Bild verloren geht.

• 

Wird der Fehler nicht bemerkt, besteht die Gefahr, daß Arbeiten nicht korrekt
durchgeführt werden und es dadurch zu Personen- und Sachschäden kommt.

• 

→ Vergleichen Sie deshalb nach dem Druckvorgang unbedingt die Ausdrucke mit der
Bildschirmdarstellung. Korrigieren Sie die Ausdrucke im Fehlerfall so, daß der Inhalt der
Bildschirmdarstellung zutreffend wiedergegeben wird.

WARNING

Danger of losing text-figure correspondence when printing out.

For technical reasons, it can currently not be ruled out that the correspondence
between text and associated figure can be lost when it is printed out, even though
the display on the screen is correct.

• 

If the fault is not noticed, there is the danger that work will not be performed
correctly which can cause injury and damage.

• 

→ Therefore, always compare printouts with the screen display after printing them out. Correct
the printouts if they are faulty so that the content of the screen display matches that on the
printouts.
